Over the weekend rogue individuals conveniently forgot the amount of sacrifice many African nations paid to free South Africa from the scrooge of apartheid and segregation, took to the streets to chase and kill their benefactors whom they claim are taking their jobs and other economic programs.

The idea that these low class scoundrels will display their follies to world television viewers is despicable. Chasing other Africans out of their country as if they are rats is painfully stupid. No one is advocating an open ended border to vast illegal immigration, but to go after those already in their country as if they are undeserving of life is barbaric.

These social dregs, hardened criminals and vultures must be rounded up and banished. The South African authorities should not reward barbaric behaviour at the expenses of civility. Many African states have paid tremendous price to free these scoundrels from the yoke of apartheid. A very unconscionable way to repay neighboring countries that did a lot to assist Black South Africans. Am I alone on this?
